Manufacturing Process of Our Stainless Steel Castings
We produce all our stainless steel castings as well as duplex stainless steel castings using the lost wax casting methodology at an industrial scale. The following breakdown provides a better idea.
Moulding & Investing
Injecting engineered dies to create wax molds, attaching them to a sprue, and investing them in a ceramic slurry to form shells.
Dewaxing & Pouring
Placing the shells in an autoclave to remove wax, and filling the hollow cavity with molten stainless steel.
Knocking & Fettling
Breaking up the ceramic shells, sawing off individual components from the sprue, removing the gate and riser, and cleaning the part.
Heat treatment & Machining
Introducing individual parts in a furnace and cooling them to improve durability, followed by secondary operations for tighter tolerances.
Inspection & Dispatch
Visual checks, dimensional inspections, and non-destructive tests and reporting, followed by packaging and dispatch to destination.
